Well, I tried.....
My heart goes out to the tornado victims in Arkansas and Oklahoma and Mississippi. You're in my prayers!!!!
Well, I tried.....
This is boring, even for me, but it's a pic of our porch through my window and screen. It was very damp from the stormy day we had all day. It was a delightfully rainy day. I ran a couple of errands with my family and then we came home and watched movies all day!! "Knight and Day", "A-Team", and "The Inheritance" were our choices for the afternoon and evening!!! So much fun!!! What a relaxing and wonderful day!! The way a Sunday afternoon should go for sure!!!
I hope you had a great weekend!!!! See you back here tomorrow!!!
We are looking fwd to hosting a dinner for some friends who wanted to come out and target practice. The above picture is of some of my mom's hard work and preparation; the bottom picture is of paper plates we plan to shoot at, haha!! This, in our opinion, is the perfect day!!! :0)
What are you guys up to this weekend?? :0)
Good Morning, loves!! I wrote this post yesterday, but there was a thunderstorm and so I couldn't actually get on my computer to post it. I hope you enjoy it. I'll hopefully be back later today with a brand new day's worth of photos!!!
I forgot my phone today!!!!! I NEVER forget my phone, lol!!! The last time I forgot my phone, I came home to 57 (or so) text messages!!!! Today? One notification. Yep. :0)
I took so many pictures yesterday with my iPhone that I decided to combine those pix with today's. Good thing I did since I would hardly have any content to share today, except stories worth their weight in gold, lol!!!
My mom and I went into a store where I bought 2 small cartons of soy creamer. Since I had one in each hand, I decided to "lift weights" with them while we were in line to pay!! The elderly lady in from of us opened her mouth a few times as she was perplexed at what I was doing, but she knew I was with my mom, so all she said, REALLY LOUDLY, was, "Doesn't she look PRETTY??? So pretty, such a pretty girl!!!!" LOL, I wanted so badly to say, "'She' speaks English, "she" understand every word you're saying!!!" It's so weird when people do that to me, lol, but it sure does make for some funny stories!!! My mom replied, "Yes, she is, she's my daughter, so I can say that", LOL!!
That same lady?? When it was her turn to pay, she questioned the poor cashier every time he rang something up, "$1.95?? What's a $1.95?? $4????" LOL, I told my mom later, "If she wasn't expecting to pay anything, why was she at the store??" In her defense, she's elderly and probably not very well off, so she has to be so careful!!
My mom and I also saw a car/bicycle accident. It doesn't look like any one was hurt too badly!!
At another store I saw a toy, a candy dispenser called, brace yourself, "The Princess Pooper". Yep. And yep...that's what it does. Isn't that a lovely thing to give and teach children???
But the strangest thing of all was that I lived a day without my phone, lol!!! Well, living without it wasn't the strange part, it's the constantly reaching for it and realizing it's not there that was strange, lol!! It was a day where I had to focus on hand written lists and instead of taking pictures of everything, I had to rely on my memory. If you're interested, I wrote a post about forgetting my phone on my personal blog!!
Ok, enough of my stories. I hope you enjoy this week's episode of iPhone Wednesday!!!! It was a strange one that's for sure!!!
I am a fancy card maker, photographer and blogger. I also drink coffee and eat healthy and like to look pretty. Thanks for dropping by!!! :0)
