Here are some new cards, hot off the art table today!!! I was finally able to work in the studio today, I've been abit under the weather lately, and it feels great to be working on these cards again. I'm more than halfway done with this 40 Christmas card project!!! Spring cards are on my brain these days, what with Easter and SPRING being just around the corner!!!! :0)
I swear these aren't paintings!! I just thought the snow was so pretty as it was swirling down!!! Also, I've been living in colder weather attire, as have most of you!!! Layering my gray sweatshirt with my fairly new red turtlneck was just cozy!!
We are snowed in at the moment and so I finally have the time to work on filling some orders!!! It's a good thing none of my orders are rush orders, lol!!! This one was for a friend who wanted some "Thinking of you" cards that she could send to anyone. I'm including a Birthday card for a lady for free as a thank you to the lady who special ordered these fancy cards!!
I hope you're enjoying this lovely weekend!!!
Thanks so much for checking in!!! :0)
Ok, I know these look like mudpies, or worse, I got it, lol. But when I saw this simple, but fancy recipe on Tone It Up, I just had to try it!! They are soooo yummy!!!! Very light!!!
Also, we're getting ready for a big snowstorm, so variations of this lovely outfit is probably what I'll be living in for the next few days!!! I hope it snows alot. Does that surprise you??
I almost titled this: "Country Bumpkin Goes to the Big City", haha!!
Yesterday, my mom and I took my dad into the heart of Denver for his repair job. It was abit nerve wracking to be looking for the place where we were to drop him off because it's so busy and a little daunting to be downtown. We had planned on just driving around when we dropped him off, but we found a great parking place and we decided to fill the meter and stay put. Right in front of us was a little bookstore/coffee shop and we went inside while we waited for my dad who was two doors down. I got a cup of water and the biggest freshly made wild berry scone!!! Talk about the find of my day!!! Yes, I know, it doesn't take much to make me happy!!! Haha!! My dad was done with his job in no time and we all piled back in the car and navigated out of the city. We were pretty excited when we found the exit for home!!! :0)
I felt like a tourist in my own state, and as nerve wracking as it was, it was fun to find a little bookstore and coffee shop. It was grace!! "Taste and see that the Lord is good" had a whole new meaning as I enjoyed my scone!!
My outfit was pretty basic again as I've needed things simpler this week. My sweater is from Loft Outlet; and I got it a few weeks ago when my mom and I went and used up all our Christmas and birthday gift cards!!! :0) This sweater is fun because of the stripes and the lace at the bottom, also, I love the 3/4 sleeve length!!
I am a fancy card maker, photographer and blogger. I also drink coffee and eat healthy and like to look pretty. Thanks for dropping by!!! :0)
